Secondo la leggenda, trasmessa da mweaFilone di Biblo secondo mweqSancuniatone, Usoos sarebbe stato l'inventore della mwegnavigazione del mare e dell'abbigliamento con mwewpelli di animali e, in competizione con il fratello Hypsuranios, avrebbe conquistato il territorio di Tiro, fondando la città.cite-ref-0-1-2[1]cite-ref-01-2-0[2]
